conservation areas)

- Social and environmental aspects concerning motorized recreation vs. non-motorized
recreation

- 2008 - Currently writing a Master thesis on the subject of aircraft usage in Aoraki/Mt
Cook NP
- 2008 - Research assistant for CRR on the Hakatere project, responsible for the qualitative
interviews.
- 2007 - PgDipTour dissertation, University of Otago. ‘The ski resort and the dedicated
visitor – Treble Cone and the freeride tribe’.
- 2006 - Research assistant for NORUT (Northern Research Institute) Social Science
Research; Winter tourism in Troms County – possibilities and constraints in the
development of winter recreation activities.
